TRG Bipod question

anyone have a clue if a Sako TRG Bipod will fit on a Mcmillan Tac-50?

The Sako TRG bipod will not fit the Tac-50 as designed. The last Tac-50 I saw had a round bar-stock male spigot on the nose of the stock that the female receiving portion part of the bipod slipped over. The TRG bipod has the rectangular male spigot and the female receiving portion in the chassis.

Mine has the PIC rail Bipod connector and was concerned that the can’t would rub the barrel.
