I hate to start this thread with another "what rings" for a rifle. Have searched through this forum and on the web, but have finally been reduced to asking... for that I apologise!

Rifle is a TRG22 in 308 using the Badger 20MOA rail. Scope is 5.5-22X56 NXS with Butler Creek flip ups.

There seems to be a couple opinions on which height.. some say low (0.8XX") area, others say medium (1"). Which is correct?

I also see Seekins has sizes in the middle of these, so perfect choice could be the 0.9 Seekin rings.

Cheers

Re: TRG ring height.... sorry....

IMO proper ring height is much more important to be based on proper eye placement behind the scope than "get it as low as possible".

This will vary based on your physical cheekbone/eye relationship.

Re: TRG ring height.... sorry....

All true about the rings being suited to the shooters body, that said the TRG stock is much more comfortable to me, when I have the scope absolutely as low as I can get it. I have a 50mm objective thats maybe an eighth of an inch off the barrel and I still have about a third of an inch spacer on the cheekpiece and the buttpad elevated by 1/2 inch or so. Its more stable and comfortable for me to get REALLY low when shooting prone.
