Trg stock for Rem 700?

If it came with that folder style, I bet a lot. I have seen the rear folder section for sale for over 2k. Now add the chassis and the front section of a TRG and I could only imagine how much more they would jack up the price. Look at the pricing between a green folder to a tan folder. Sakos pricing is all messed up.

Here's a sneak peak of our W-3 for the 700. I'll have some better quality pics up soon.

We're currently working on the final tweaks and ramping up for the next production run, which will include the Remington version.

enjoy!

Will the folding stock for the TRG be included in the next run?

Sorry, but the stock in the OP (to me) looks butt-ugly. The stock from KRG lloks great, though, and has me strongly reconsidering an AICS for my Remington 40X.

Question-- will KRG also make magazines for the TRG for less than $175? Now THAT would be a market!

Since they already make a new action block that bolts into the TRG stock and accepts AICS mags it might not be practical from a business standpoint.

RWS, we'll have some for you but did you want folders or fixed?

mnshortdraw, you'll have to turn the barrel down a bit. 1.34" is the theoretical max but anything over 1.25-1.27" and you'll have to use shorter forend screws (not a big deal but not as much thread engagement). Anything over 1.3" and you'll be iffy with free floating. Remember 1.34"-1.35" is the diameter of the action, so at 1.35" you'll be hitting the surfaces on which the action rests. John will have to answer the barrel length question, I'm not sure.

Northman, see my post in other thread, in short-it's coming.

Josh is right about the mags. We have the conversion kit so we're sticking with AICS mags. Stamping mags is not something we want to get into. We're glad that you like the stock though!

mnshortdraw,

The length of the barrel in the pic is 18" before you add the ops brake. It's a bit on the heavy side for my tastes but it gets the job done.
