TRG42 .300 accuracy potential?

What should I expect out of this gun? I'm still trying to work up a load. It looks like it wants to shoot, the CBS goes right into the X-ring at 100 every time. It's after I get a few rounds down that one will jump out of the cloverleaf, and I think it's me and not the gun. Most of the stringing is vertical, which I THINK might be my position inconsistency. I don't have a good feel for whether it's barrel temp related or just me screwing up. I'm shooting prone off a Harris and a rear bag.

Any opinions?

The 300WM is a very inherently accurate caliber as is the TRG is a very inherently rifle. If you are having uncalled flyers the first thing you should do is verify everything is assembled properly and torqued properly with the rifle and optic. Then evaluate your position or have someone else shoot the rifle and see if the results are the same. After that is all done assess your load and the scope.
