Gunsmithing Trigger Pull Weight on Service Sniper Rifles

What is the preferred pull weight for Military Snipers. I have heard 4#s and then lower weights. Just curious if it is a user decision or set rule? Tried search unsuccessfully.....

Tom Meyes glued the mk13mod7 trigger screws so the end users couldn't fuck them up. In those units, it wasnt anyone's choice but Tom's.

FWIW, I had so send mine in to be "fixed" (mine is a personal trigger, not an issue rifle)

Typically, 2.5lb-4lb somewhere.

IBA had set mine at 4# on an xm-3 I bought years ago and recommended it stayed there if sniping was the game....
