I don’t believe there is or has been a systematic problem with Trigger tech products. I still run them in my ARs and have them in a couple of Glock19s. Pretty sure there is not an issue with their bolt triggers either as they are used by a ton of the top shooters. Do I still use them there, no, but not because of an issue but because I prefer Bix’n Andi. They make great triggers and am sure they continue the great work of Hawkins.

From what I understand, There was one batch that had internals that weren’t properly heat treated. They warrantied all of them and haven’t had any issues since.

Here is what AI provided in a websearch:

"TriggerTech bolt action trigger issues have been reported by users and discussed in various forums. The problems primarily involve the bolt stop and firing pin mechanism, which can lead to malfunctions such as the firing pin not cocking properly or hang fires. Some users have indicated that the bolt stop in Remington 700 actions is a weak link, and if not polished and maintained properly, it can cause issues. Additionally, there are concerns about the design of the bolt release not mating well with the bolt stop, which can be resolved by slight modifications.

Users have also mentioned that the TriggerTech Diamond trigger, intended for cloned actions, may not be set up correctly for factory guns, leading to problems such as the trigger not catching the firing pin. There are also reports of issues with sear engagement, where too little or too much engagement can cause problems like hang fires or excessive bolt lift.

In some cases, replacing the trigger with a different model or brand, such as a Jewell or Timney, has resolved the issues. It is also recommended to ensure that the trigger is properly maintained and that all components, including the bolt stop and firing pin, are in good condition."
