Yes, I've read the older threads.

2 questions for the forum.

1. TT tells me that the distance inside the trigger guard of the Pro Curve and the Flat trigger are the same, as in the distance from the front of the grip.

same length down in the trigger guard

Going off pics on their website, there is a marked difference between the center of the curved trigger vs the rearmost point of the flat. WAG, at least 4mm difference.

Anyone have both and can measure with calipers or even a ruler?

I have longer fingers (XL gloves) and other shooters in the house have much smaller hands. Given the apparent difference it could matter whether I'm putting the Special with the Pro Curve in my gun or a flat in one of theirs.

2. Pro Curve or Flat?

I've used flat triggers and curved triggers. I've never OWNED a flat trigger but I think I prefer them in terms of feel. No clue if I actually shoot better because it's always been on other people's guns.

SH opinions?

If this is your first TriggerTech you will be impressed with the trigger regardless of the shoe type. Mine actually surprised with with how nice it is, I like it a lot. Breaks cleanly and can be adjusted to be extremely light. As easy to install as any other trigger and definitely super easy to adjust.

Pick up a flat diamond and if you don't like it I will trade my curved pro diamond for it. I have been using the curved and would not mind trying a flat trigger.
