Rifle Scopes Trijicon vs falcon

Re: Trijicon vs falcon

Until people torque test the Falcon we cant know...
I'm a believer that price does not tell the whole story. I tend not to fall in line until I see it for myself. Just sayin.

Re: Trijicon vs falcon

i have on order a us optic sn-3 t-pal for my 308 so i understand the need for quality but im looking at one of these for a magnum reaserch .17 mach2 i just picked up and am not sure i need a $700 scope on a rimfire when a $220 scope might shoot tree squirrels just the same what do you guys think?

I have not owned the Falcon you mentioned, but I do own A falcon.

I would go with the TR24G over the 1.25x model. It's an excellent scope and doesn't need batteries. The 1x is nice for CQB type shooting. I have some limited experience with one on a SCAR and with clip on NV. They work great.

Re: Trijicon vs falcon

I would think that for a plinker rimfire the Falcon would be great. Other uses, like defensive, I'd wait till some reviews come back just as a CYA thing. I like the trijicons, but I sure wish they offered some better reticle choices for their 1-4's.

im not for this project i dont want(target turrets) but for the mid range price point i think trijicon has fairly bright optics i think it would help them to expand there line
