trouble with 243 ADL feeding

I have an old , but like new 243 ADL. It is so old it has an aluminum buttplate on it!!! It is having issues feeding the 2nd round. The round is not allowed to come up enough from the magazine fro the bolt to pick it up.

Before I changer anything like making a BDL out of it. anyone have thoughts on how ti fix this??

I have made sure the OLA is in spec.

Might be time to replace the magazine spring?

Could be a weak internal box mag spring, I would take the internal mag assembly out and inspect it and clean it first.

Either replace your internal magazine spring or take it out and stretch it.

Have you had it apart? Check the alignment of the box to ensure the follower is not binding.
