Hello guys I need some help from those with more experience reloading than myself. I purchased some once fired brass(Black Hills Match .308) here on the hide awhile back. I initially tried to resize the brass in my Forster National match Full Length sizing die. After several attempts I could not get the brass to size correctly as there was to much resistance when chambering a resized piece of brass. I have set up my dies with proper headspace utilizing a Hornady Headspace gauge and have no problems with any other brass than this lot. I was then told I needed a small base die. I then purchased a Redding Small Base bushing Full Length sizing die and utilizing the Redding die the brass fit neatly into my TBA Bolt action .308. After firing this brass it results in a sticky bolt. The Head space will not conform to the chamber. When using brass fired within this rilfe utilizing the same die I have no problems whatsoever. Would annealing alleviate this problem.
