Trouble with FN TBM System

I need some help sorting out a weird problem with my father’s FN SPR A1. The rifle came with the old four round box mag. He installed the FN TBM kit and the mag is disengaging during recoil. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there an easy way to tun the mag or the mag catch?

I’m going to try to get in touch with FN on Tuesday.

Just curious if it’s Isolated to either the 5 or 10 round mag.

This was happening with a 10 round mag. I only have the one mag that came with it. I’m hesitant to buy more mags since I’m having this problem, but that could isolate the issue if it is the magazine.

I have a 5 and 10 round mag for mine, I was curious because the 5 round mag functions better in mine. Neither have fell out because of recoil though. We’re u able to reach anyone at FN?

I did make some time to call FN this morning. I’m going to try with different mags and try to isolate the issue. If that doesn’t do it I will send it back for them to look at.
