Gunsmithing Tru-Oil Aerosol Reviews?

Getting my weekly Brownell's order together and I'm considering switching over to the aerosol, but have some concerns.

Semi-production usage, and since I can't charge enough already for the time invested in finishing some stocks if the aerosol will save some time and still deliver on the end product, I'm all for it even if it costs a bit more.

My guess is that because it's thinned already with solvent that's the "how" it gets good penetration into the wood grain instead of just lying on the surface?

How well does it atomize/ flow-out?

Is it best maybe to hand rub-in the first coat, and spray subsequent coats?

Appreciate comments from anyone that's got some experience with the aerosol version.

Try this. It's way better than the Tru-Oil IMO.

I like the fact that there's a satin finish as well as the gloss.
