so i'm newb at purchasing suppressor. does trust allow me to add trustee in the future or i can only add during the purchase of suppressor? right now i'm the only one will be using it, but i like the flexibility to add an trustee in the future.

You can amend it in the future (should be able to, check with wherever you get the trust from though). Load up on cans now and add people after. Unless they don’t mind getting prints and pictures taken.
With a Silencer Shop Single Shot Trust you can initially apply as the single trustee and grantor (therefore only you have to provide pics and fingerprints) at time of application. Then, once the item has been approved, you may add/remove other trustees by having them fill out and notarize some forms without the need to ever provide their pictures or fingerprints to the BATF.
This works because the Single Shot Trust can only contain the one individual NFA item initially purchased and can never have additional purchases added to it. Last time I looked they cost $25 and if you are only buying a couple of items it is probably more efficient, cost wise, than a standard trust capable of containing multiple items.
