Suppressors Trust underway!

Re: Trust underway!

I'm waiting from my Form 4 as a trust purchase right now. Painful knowing the government took my money and doesn't have to provide anything for as long as they want.

At least with CCW permits in Colorado the the sheriff is limited to 90 days to shit or get off the pot. Unfortunately the feds get to write whatever rules they want.

Don't give the ATF any ideas...
I will hopefully be starting a trust through the gun trust lawyer people. Form 1 for days after that.

Re: Trust underway!

I understand everyone's pain, I am currently having a trust done and transferring my current NFA items into it. There is no legitimate reason for the BATF to take as long as they do for a background check. It can be done in under an hour by the time they run you through NCIC and your state's data base to see if you have a criminal record of any kind. They are not doing a branching background investigation which takes forever. I think they are just stuck in old school from when a computer data base on criminal records was not around and they did manual filing. Congress needs to get off their dead arse and redraft some legislation to make the BATF change their ways. If they can do an instant background check for a regular weapons purchase which is the same background they do for your NFA items minus the fingerprint cards. The data base for running fingerprints does not take that long either, unless they have some fool still sitting on a stool with a magnifying glass researching prints, Not. They can speed up doing a background for a Class 2 or Class 3 items immensely. The letter from you local law enforcement representative needs to be abolished and everyone should be able to go through their state's investigative bureau that does the instant background checks for their letter and fingerprint cards.
