-Is there any use in completing a trust to start the paperwork if you are going to move states within the next 6 months? The next state will most likely be Texas. I don't want to get a trust drafted with information that includes my current county of residence if I will be moving soon.
- How hard is that to get changed once you do move?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Trust ?

iyaoyas- Did you ask Jeff about this? I'm with these other guys in that I'd wait until you get to Texas. Being transferred?

I told him I'd get the process started with him, then other job opportunities have come up, which brought me to this question. They are not concrete yet. I will ask him next week as I am sure he isn't around this week.

Re: Trust ?

Give me a call and I would be apply to discuss these issues.

The main reason to get a trust now is to get the transfer process started Jd hopefully completed so you could move with the item. Of course you may move before the transfer is completed.

To change the situs of the trust only requires an amendment. Not a big deal
