Dude, the TACOPS is ALL WIN. True glow tritium front, siglite tritium rear, mag funnel grips, 4-20 round mags, a very refined SRT trigger, comfy beavertail for a nice high hand position, forward cocking serrations, a rail that you can use with 100 percent of new tac lights on the market! I've had both, and the Sig is better. I carried a Sig 229 for 6 years as an Air Marshall and a Border Patrol Agent, and it was a wonderful gun that NEVER malfunctioned. Well, two malfunctions, but they were bad rounds that had good solid hits on the primers, but didn't go off. They were accurate as well. I cleaned the FAM and BP quals regularly with my Sig. My use of HKs has been limited to USPSA and IDPA, and concealed carry, but they had trigger issues that I just couldn't get over. No amount of work by Bruce Grey could make them feel right to me. I am telling you, that new SRT trigger is as good as any custom trigger job that I have had from Sig Custom Shop, or Grey Guns. The 226 is a great value, Plus, I have seen Sigarms reps at several big LE shoots and 3 Gun matches, supporting the community. Aint never seen them holier than thow HK MFrs anywhere. Sig has great customer service, and HK is famous for their bad customer service. My buddy who works for a local Texas PD and competes alot with his HK416, just shot out his barrel, and do you think a barrel was to be found?? No. Fuck you individual cop. He had to send it to Marvin Pitts to get rebarreled with another manufacturers barrel. I sold all 4 of my HKs.
