Okay hide, boiled it down to either an Impact or Curtis vector. Why would you go with one vs the other? Are prefits an issue or not really at this point.

I’m surprised that so many shooters are open to either a 2 lug or 3 lug action. I’d expect a stronger preference for one over the other on an individual level.
It only took me owning one 3 lug action before I knew that they were not for me.
To the OP, the only thing you’re going to get here is personal preference. And different shooters have different taste in an action.
I would strongly suggest though, that if you have not shot a 3 lug action before, try it before you buy it. A lot of people love them, but if you are used to bolt manipulation feeling a certain way....they do feel different.

Two very different actions.
Do you want a 3 lug? And if yes, realize it’s going to take some tweaking to get aw mags feeding perfectly. That’s just the nature of the beast with aw mags in customs.

Impact, for two reasons:

Did my research on the two and am going to roll with an impact action. I've wanted one since I found out they were a thing and don't see myself using that quick barrel swap feature.
