I am in the middle of building my Mega Ma-Ten and I cannot for the life of me decide on a trigger. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking at geiselle and the AR-Gold triggers but am open to any suggestions.

I prefer a light trigger pull (as though I needed to say that). I also would like some input as to whether I should get a one stage or two stage trigger.

Again any input is welcomed. I tend to obsess over things and unfortunately this is not always a good quality.

Thank you.

Re: Trying To Pick A Trigger

You probably should start with running a search on this issue and read the multiple threads dealing with single- vs. two-stage triggers, as well as the multiple reviews/comments on the various AR triggers that have been posted in the last several months. This issue comes up very frequently and has been covered pretty thoroughly already. Here is one such thread...there are plenty of others if you run a quick search (use the search engine in my sig line and skip the crappy forum-software search):

Single vs. Two-Stage Triggers

As for your specific triggers that you are considering, both are very good, but they are very different. Again, tons of info out there already on both units. If you go with the Geiselle, I usually recommend either the SSA and SSA-E units because they offer an exceedingly good trigger that is non-adjustable (nothing to come lose or f--- up from user/installer error). The SSA-E can get you into a very light second stage pull which meets your requirements. Again, don't want to reinvent the wheel with this thread...good luck with your search/reading.

Re: Trying To Pick A Trigger

I got the G high speed match and it is baddazz. Love the 1lb setting. Its bench work so Im OK with a light trigger. If I decide on tactical use I can set it higher. The instructions seemed like a lot at first but just read them twice and install it.
