tubb firing pin and cocking piece...

Re: tubb firing pin and cocking piece...

Watch out for hard primers. Maybe the worthless, no good, profit only, dumbshit, factory research folks thought about that and decided to go only for the cheapest way possible and not worry about their customers. JMHO

Re: tubb firing pin and cocking piece...

I had to use the new cocking piece on my Winchester because the original piece broke. Figured I might as well get the firing pin as well if I was replacing the cocking piece. Other than breaking the original piece, I would have never bought the new pieces.

I can't notice any difference from what it was before, as far as lock time. There probably is a difference, but I don't have the know how or tools to measure it.

Re: tubb firing pin and cocking piece...

these trinkets work......they do, and how you notice the effect is doing offhand positional shooting.....IF you do enough of this type of unsupported shooting......you will notice calling your shots and tighter groups as the trigger breaks.

Re: tubb firing pin and cocking piece...

Ripper, for a 700 even? The locktime reduction for an M70 is substantially reduced, but for a Rem 700, which already has pretty fast lock time, I can't see the difference being measurable. But I haven't tried it.

I suck at positional shooting. I think practice will help me at this point more than a gadget, but anything for a little edge.
