I had one on a AA 6.5 Grendel Overwatch. I really liked it. When I shoot an AR, I seem to get more 'bounce' than when I shoot a bolt gun. It made picking up hits easy for me. The hole in the brake will need to be opened up, unless you are 6mm. I asked the manufacturer and he said around .025 over bullet OD but if you look at it originally , it is only around .012 over .243 as it comes from the factory. Don't quote me on the numbers, I am going from memory. Any decent gunsmith can thread the barrel. The threads will be fairly long because you have not only the brake but also the lock nut.
