Anyone used a RDS on their turkey gun? I'm curious how you liked it vs stock beads on a vent rib. How did the extra height of the RDS work for you? Any other pros/cons? Thanks.

I've got RDSs on 2 of my turkey guns. Zero magnification and they just come up and point well. I find I'm crowding the gun if I use the factory beads, so the extra height was a plus for me. They only down side is batteries. Take em out and forget to put them back in or they run dead, so check your sight a day or two before you plan on hunting.

I use a holosun 510c on my hunting mossberg. Love the reticle and it has solar power so as long as I’m outside I don’t have to worry about batteries (in the worst case scenario that my battery dies mid hunt).
