Neighbor has a pic of one with 2 really long beards so he was on the list. Got a strain of double beards locally and really low hunter pressure so they have a chance to get some age. This bird is plenty good enough...for sure....thanks

Very nice ...gotta love them big easterns..but I really want one of the Merriam's...gonna have to find a place for next year.

Agreed, I see them pretty often in Western Wyoming where I hunt elk every year but never have managed to get back there in springtime. They seem to stick to the waterways and most of that is private.

Nice birds, guys! That 26 lb-er is a toad, and I have much respect for anyone who can kill one with a bow! Here's mine from earlier this spring (North Florida public land).
