He's a total charlatan, and basically a protest bum going from one thing to the next with no real job or means of supporting himself. He was a shitbag in the Marine Reserves, and he remains a shitbag. He's a classic bully. He only targets the very young and the very weak. If I were an Indian I'd be ashamed as hell this shitbag was trying to speak for me.
With his second round of antics, I don't think many people see him as much more than just the flavor of the month media shit-stirrer. Every Marine or Native American I've seen/heard comment on him thinks he's a disgrace to either camp with how he's manipulating the situation.
It will be interesting to see the nebulous white Catholic bleeding hearts take this one on, though. I guess he wants reparations or is mad that reservations are shit holes, and it's those kids' fault in his mind— because they're Catholic and didn't heed the "Indian crossing next 150 years" sign.
