I've been happy with both aesthetics, and performance, of my Aero AR15 build in .223 wylde. So, it has been part of the inspiration in my Aero AR10 build. Here they are, the 15 is "fully dressed", as I like to call it, with all her gear strapped on. The 10 is ready for optic, trigger, and bipod. But the powers that be (read: wifey) have collared my spending until the new year. Sorry if this should have been in a pic thread; I'm just slightly excited to have an AR10 now, and I respect the opinions and education of those here. Here it goes...

AR15: Aero Precision upper and lower, Aero 15" enhanced keymod handguard, magpul SL stock, MOE+ grip, Harris S-brm, iwc keymod bipod stud (mint, the Harris sits flush on the handguard), BCM KAG, Aero lpk, POF 4.5lb drop in trigger with kns anti-walk pins, American Defense recon 30, Strike Eagle 1-6, Ballistic Advantage 16" .223 wylde SS with Teludyne Tech StraightJacket barrel system, Teludyne Tech brake.

AR10: Aero Precision lower with lpk, AWC (I believe) upper receiver, MOE+ grip, PRS stock, Aero 15" enhanced keymod handguard, Ballistic Advantage 20" .308 with Teludyne Tech StraightJacket barrel system, Teludyne Tech brake.

I'm confused by your brakes, they look backwards.
Also what barrels and profiles are those?
I assure you they are not. They are the proprietary brakes by Teludyne for their StraightJacket barrel. The recoil reduction is amazing. The barrels are StraightJacket, tube size is 1.25". The Dracos is built using this platform.

Thats great that you like them, but they're literally designed exactly opposite of all the most well known effective brakes on the market. I find it hard to believe that one company figured out that spinning a brake 180 degrees makes it work better but no one that specializes in brakes has caught on.

Isnt that what it's about? Form and function? Looks great to my eyes, and kicks less than same caliber weapons I have fired.

I'm sure if you shoot at any ranges that the shooters on either side of you appreciate the design those brakes. Looks like they would direct most of the blast forward vs. sideways as most common brakes do.

That's the first time I've ever heard of those barrels. Great looking builds by the way. Do they shoot pretty good?

@ShooterwithNoName , they direct gas quite nicely, although my AR15 is quite loud. The magnum brake with 3 ports, has a problem with punking people out in prone shooting if they're a little ahead of my position. Working on load development for the 5.56, and have not fired the .308. The 5.56 will hold 1moa or less with most ammo. I've shot some Winchester white box that wont go below ~1.5-2", but that's cheap plinking garbage. Thank you

Aero is aesthetically my favorite set. I did the exact same as.u did. Ar15 first, then the 10. Now I have about 4 builds on this set. I just love the look. I went with the 15" handguard on two as well and the look identical like yours. Congratulations.on some.awesome looking rifles.

Re: Brake... I have several cheap eBay brakes that look nearly identical that work very well. My 6.5 cm is literally like a 22 mag

Nice looking Builds. The barrel on the large frame had me puzzled until I read your build list. Thing is FAT!

Need a flashlight holder and like the looks of yours. Whats the mount and light?

Bravo Company 1" keymod, straight, no offset. Surefire G2(?) Its 400 lumen high, and 15 low. Works well, I can tap it with my thumb
