Rifle Scopes Two piece base questions

I've never had a two piece base but I am considering a 20moa set from Nightforce for a Remington 700P that will have the hinged floor plate.

When installing the bases how do make sure they're straight and true with each other, and if they need bedded, how do you hold 'em straight?

Or should I skip the two piece and use a rail?

I say just run a good quality one piece picatinny scope base. That way you don't have to worry about any of that....except for potentially having to bed it.

Unless you think you just have to have a more open ejection port, I'd go with a one piece rail.

Mount them to the receiver and use a set of Burris Signature rings.
