Just want to drop in and compliment Two Vets for outstanding CS. I was gifted a No Name tripod and Anvil-30 conversion bowl by a good friend in Dec. Now, I'm closing in on 70, I don't shoot comps and at this point never really will, and this tripod was only used to mount a spotting scope and I believe I shot off of it once. And, it was never exposed to a blowing sand/dust type environment

I haven't really used it that much but when I did I would extend the bottom two of three legs to get the height I needed. No reason why...just didn't give it much thought.

But yesterday, I thought instead to extend the top two legs as they are thicker and presumably provide a more stable platform. I discovered that one of the top leg extensions wouldn't...well, extend. Its jammed in there hard. Won't budge.

I dropped Two Vets a note via their website...after hours...and got a note back that they would call today.

Dan did indeed call, explained that it could be due to a couple of things, and said he would email me a pre-paid UPS shipping label (which he did and I now do have) and that he would turn it around back to me within a day if received early...or next day if not.

One of the things Dan explained might happen is if the leg was twisted instead of pulled straight out. I dunno if I caused the fault and told him that if it proves to be me, that I would gladly pay for the repairs to which he demurred and said no, he's got it covered.

I like the tripod very much, shit does happen to products we use (everybody ships a clunker once in a while and users do indeed fuck stuff up without knowing it was them), and I couldn't ask for a better CS response.

I applaud Two Vets Sporting Goods and recommend them highly.
