Ultimatum Defacto Barreled action

So I pre ordered a defacto a few months ago. Been really looking forward to getting it in my hands. I was told by Ultimatum to expect it to ship in November. That didn’t happen and I understand honestly, but. I have had no updates on a revised shipping time frame and was curious. Has anyone else had this experience? Anyone have any info that I dont?

Same happened to me with a Deuce. Ordered in June. If you don't email them, they will not email you. I'd send an email about once a month. Every time I was told it'll ship next month. Cancelled my order and was refunded quickly. I'll buy from them once the preorders get sorted out.

Yeah, they said sometime around Black Friday that the Defacto and Deuce are supposedly in production as we speak and they hope to have orders out starting some time in Januray. They have had quite a few delays on these now, so you're going to have to be patient

Yea I have been emailing pretty regularly. Trying not to bother them too much but the general lack of information has been frustrating. I considered canceling as well but going to wait and see what happens.

I did see a post on international barrels Instagram with a deuce saying they were in the testing stage of the barreled action and should be finished soon. That was maybe a week ago.

When I saw these I almost jumped all over them but since following along things just look weird with the lack of communication and updates...

I preordered one back in February when they were originally supposed to ship in March. At the end of March I emailed and got a quick response that told me it’d be closer to June because of covid. Understandable. In July I still hadn’t gotten an update even after emailing. In September I asked for a refund and got it within the next couple hours of asking. I’ll probably try to pick up a deuce once everything settles down. I know a guy who uses their deadline and loves it.

I have been considering cancelling mine more and more now. I really want to give them and chance and was happy to do the pre order ( I’m sure that is helpful in the development stages) but damn. I just want to be kept in the loop. I mean I obviously care if it get pushed back but I would be a lot more understanding if there was just more information. And I’m not creating an Instagram account just to see their post. All people on the pre order list should just get periodic emails with updates.

As frustrating as it is covid is messing up the supply chain in almost every industry. Not surprised at the delays. They are a small shop.

Most of discussion is about the defacto, but have a deadline on order since June.
