I had seekins low rings on my 223AI/Surgeon 591 and the 40mm Luepy Mk 4 still sat too high. Well looking at the website, there are no seekins ultra lows.

Anyone have any suggestions on replacements?

the 40 mm objective just sat too far off the barrel.

Re: Ultra low rings?

I wish i could get them lower, i would. If you look at the bottom of the ring body you can see there isn't much room to go lower because the screws need a place to go. Also, the clamp upper angle on the ring bottom will run out of room.

I DO make a hunter style base that is lower than a standard 20moa base. It only has a few slots on top and has a cutout for the loading port. They can be had in 20moa, but i only have flat ones at the molment. They are lower by aprox .1'' all based on the head thickness of the base screw..

Clear as mudd???

Re: Ultra low rings?

thanks for the input Glen. I run your rings and bases on ALL my rifles. The only problem on this one is that this rifle is a surgeon 591 so I have to find low rings. After looking on the internet, looks like I will be sticking with your Low rings and just not worrying about how far off the barrel the scope is.
