The problem is no primary extraction. You would be better off with a uintah precision upper with a lightweight barrel and lower.

Yup

I think that’s why they are all making them with straight walled cartridges and having trouble with 6.5 Grendel’s and 6 ARCs.

I've run a no-gas 22 Nosler AR (not drilled for gas block), and had stickage issues after about 40 shots into a 60 shot match.
Take a mop on a flexible cleaning rod through the port to clean neck carbon and shoot on. Easy pull with a side charge upper.
Didn't go light weight.
