Years ago I paid by check at a bowling alley, and the cashier plugged my name into www.missingmoney.com and told me I was on their site. Sure enough, it was legit and I got the money.

I tried that site, and found I am owed some money. I checked it out with the state involved, and it is indeed legit. They said I'll have it within 30 days.

I’m on the list, with my current address. Funny that they have not sent it. Simply have to fill out a form with my ssn and I can get my $35.
