Pretty cool stuff. Wish I was part of that generation. Article at 13:05 says he arrived home after 9 months in Santa Ana California. There was a huge air base there in the 40s. A lot of those guys ended up staying in Orange County. Bought cheap houses in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach etc. Worth millions now.
