Hunting & Fishing unit 42 deer hunt

A friend of mine son drew a Idaho unit 42 deer tag. The season is from Nov 1 to 24th. The boy is 15 and he has never killed a buck. He is a good shot and he has good equipment. I would like to know if anyone has hunted this unit late and where to start looking. Any help will be appreciated. Ross

Never hunted 42, but have hunted unit 41 before. Good luck.
