Advanced Marksmanship Unstable platform shooting

Does anybody have any experience in using video camera gimbals converted to suit unstable platform shooting? Looking at helo and water ops type jobs using bolt guns.

Stedi-Cam rifle/shooter support setup? Interesting suggestion. They can do it with tank cannon mounts, why not a sniper platform inside a 'Lopter?

I have heard of people using the full professional video camera support harness systems for standing supported shots. I currently shoot the majority of the time using a tripod converted for my AI on stalks. If I get a spare 1500 bucks I'll buy one and convert it
