Just wanted to post a couple of pics of my Stevens 200 in 308 after I got the B&C Medalist. I love the feel of the stock and can't wait to shoot it. Now thinking about putting a Criterion Varmint Barrel on her and an EGW 1 piece base.

Re: Updated pics of my Stevens 200

Looks great! I just finished a 6mm AI on a Stevens 200, the only thing left will be a new stock if I decide to keep her. She shot one hole in my McMillian but around 1/2" in the Savage stock. Let us know how you like the B&C. I was entertaining a Stockade but I understand Kevin is really backed up, may try a B&C.
As far as the barrel, I put a CBI on my .260 build and have not looked back. Definately worth the call to Jim at NSS.
Go for it you will not be disappointed.
Looking for the range report!

With factory stock I was shooting best groups at .75 or so. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet with the B&C on it. I will post up some info after I do and if good enough maybe some targets

She looks identical to mine about a year and a half ago before I got my new barrel and she started to get transformed.

Welcome to the addiction.

I see your seeing the benefits of some of the things we've talked about.

Good luck,

Yes, remember all the times I bugged you with questions? I put the answers to work. I just need to pick out a barrel. I have been looking all night at the ER Shaw Barrels? Was dead set on the Criterion but no more than I am able to shoot I was thinking going a little cheaper. Seems like there are quite a few happy shooters out there for the price of the Shaw barrel.

For the money ($160) I am very happy with it. I have only gotten it out to 200 yards so far though. Glass is very clear and I shoot in the evenings after work sometimes so the illuminated mil dot is very nice. I recommend it if you are looking into a lower level scope.

Re: Updated pics of my Stevens 200

I picked up that Shaw 20" threaded barrel for my brother. So far it's shooting 5/8 to 3/4" with 175gmm but it's only got 20rds down the tube so far. Pick one up, install a good break and save up for good glass then replace the barrel afterwards.

Good luck,
Merritt
