upgrade M40A3 to M40A5 specs

Looking to upgrade my M40A3 clone to M40A5 specs: I need some help on the correct parts/length. thanks

so far I have the following work to be done:

- cut barrel to ?
- add SF brake, which one ?
- add NV mount ,which one ? Badger or PGW ?

Impact,

This is what GAP list for their mil-spec build on the A5 for the items you questioned:

- 25" Schneider 1-12 twist, 6grove, Stainless barrel 1.200 for 4" Straight taper to .920

- Surefire Comp/Suppressor Adapter model MB762SSAL/RE

- PGW PVS-22 Night Vision Mount mounted in Stock

thanks, that will help ! can the Badger be a substitution ? I'm having hard time locating a PGW mount.

The Badger looks different. If you're trying to go 100% spec, you'll need the PGW. Have you tried calling them directly?

no mounts until August per PGW so if someone has one for sale, contact me
