In any event...pick a quality, mil-spec upper and be done with it. Brand isn't an overriding concern for me in this area of a build. If you do NOT already have a lower, might as well get a matched set while you are at it.

Sorry I thought this was about whole assemblies including barrels. my fault.

Mega, seekings, SI defense , LARS, they are all well cut and tight.
Many brands come from the same OEM mills anyway so many other good brands.
