That happened to me once with FedEx when I ordered my Kilo2400 I was so pissed it even said "left on porch" I was looking on every porch on my whole street then I learned sometimes if there scanners are low on battery power they will pre scan some of the packages as if they were dropped off so they don't have to go all the way back to HQ. I have a friend that works for FedEx and another that works for FedEx Ground they both told me this was common practices. I had just gotten off the phone filing a lost package report and then the FedEx truck pulls up with it........Hopefully that is what happened to you.

UPS did this to me too. I was home at the time and no one rang the bell. I was on the phone with their dispatch immediately. The driver had gotten lost and left the package at some random location on the other side of Houston. NBD, just 500 rounds of ammunition. He did, however, deliver it later that evening. I hope he got a good-boy pat, and a thorough ass-reaming...

Well, they generally just leave it in the woods on the side of the road next to the driveway. $1500 scope, signature deliver, doesn't matter. I bitched about that enough that now they leave those "missed you" notes on the gate --stuck to the "UPS, drive on up" sign left on the purpose opened gate. Fedex no different. One time they left a custom rifle on the front porch that I had to pay extra on delivery for the ID signature. One asshole shot putted a box full of .50BMG primers on the porch. I'm always here and I make it easy for them. Unbelievable.

If it's hazard or orm-d, it can't go to the post office at all, but if you have a PO box all other UPS and Fedex packages can be sent to the post office's physical address with PO box number after it. Make sure to talk to the desk first because I believe I had to sign a form allowing them to sign for UPS and Fedex packages. These deliveries are seldom fucked up; from time to time the driver runs later than the PO is open but it comes the next day.

You know what they're all screwed-up. I complained about throwing packages on the edge of the porch where they are easily seen from the street and please ring the doorbell as I'm usually home.

    Dear Mr. XXXXXXXX

Thank you for contacting FedEx. We regret the delay on our response to your inquiry.

The Video, gee USPS must wear the same uniforms and drive FedeX trucks.

Heck, you guys are lucky. They leave mine sitting on my brick patio in the rain.
I've raised hell, taken pics of ruined stuff to absolutely zero help.
Worst part, a fully covered but open front porch is four steps more on the brick patio.

    I've had the same thing.

I got one better, they left them in the snow bank next to the mail boxes, if the plow had come by I would have found them in the spring.
