US Catholic bishops endorse gun control manifesto. Now with WTF entertainment for your Saturday night drinking.

The Catholic church has made itself such a joke it's just plain horrifying. My wife's family is trying to lure her back into it and she'll go with them occasionally. They don't even see how far gone they are, how even since 2008 they've gone down the far left rabbit hole.

I'm a pretty devout catholic but agree last couple of popes since John Paul have consistently pushed the narrative far left and it's shocking really. But yeah the idea is to focus on the word of God regardless of the denomination of Christianity not it's so called "leaders". Though admittedly i have friends that think the pope is holier than art thou etc. He's a human just like the rest of us and his interpretation of the word has no more legitimacy than mine at the end of the day if i'm being honest. I vividly remember his anti-gun rhetoric bullshit also. At the end of the day another "leader" advocating against it's constituents just like every politician in washington.

Just hit me, all the people who liked that creeps post actually we’re liking a child sexual predator

That is exactly the reason why he posted that shit in the womens' sub-board. It seems like a very small and deep down part of him still realized that what he was doing was fucked up beyond belief but he cannot control those urges, therefore, he tried to spin it into a more benign perspective and gain some affirmation and support. Though he was really fooling nobody. One of the women did find his post fucky, but she got called a troll by a lot of the other ones who bought into his bullshit. On the first link I posted in that post regarding his arrest and outing, all of the guys were commenting on just how perverted and fucked up that entry read. The womens' board does not receive nearly as much traffic as other boards like hunting, gunsmithing, and of course, GD, so word about it got out relatively slowly. It was after his arrest that a member who did a search on his post history found that one. If the SOB had posted that shit in GD, he would have been shredded to bits right then and there. The magnitude of the gangbanging that would have commenced would have gone down in the annals of Arfcom history...

Irony that the Catholic Church is supporting gun control....they are a huge part of why a culture of individualism, sovereignty and RKBA formed to begin with.

Their behavior helped shape the ideologies and culture of those whose decendants would later found America.

I thought the pope was

I thought the pope was the Vicar of Christ and infallible in matters of the church.

I endorse a pedophile control manifesto, as follows:

1) Pedophile hunting season is 24/7/365
2) No restrictions on weapons or TTP
3) Leave them right were you find them (on-the-spot carcass incineration is also fine as long as the fire doesn’t spread)
4) No limit on how many you can take

Edit: feel free to add anything I may have missed.

Nah only to people who succumb to that type of rhetoric. Kind of stems back to the church's view on venial and mortal sin. Maybe i'm in the minority on this one concerning my fellow Catholics. With the exception of one (Jesus) and not diving off too much into the religious topics, I don't lend thought to kings, gods among men, etc. they're just men in my eyes, nothing more nothing less, and fallible by nature.

I agree, just men. As human as you and I and just as fallible.

From the catechism...

882 The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter's successor, "is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and of the whole company of the faithful."402 "For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.

I've spoken with a number of practicing Catholics over the years that firmly believe this is true.
