got a e-mail today that RW Syder has received my scope and will be shipping it out to me on fri. needless to say im very excited he is a great guy to deal with and also put up with over zelous coustomers hears the specs

dont laugh at me but it's going on my ptr91 until my overtime season kicks back in next summer im planing on having a custom build done by RW Snyder i'm up in the air right now 6.5 creadmoor or 300 win mag posibly the creadmoor or a wsm if i dont go boltgun and do a ar10 custom gas gun instead! + i will be using GG&G mounting hardware

picky picky but thanks! thats mostly what i too thought!! with the exception of the 28" barrel to maximize the round would to me exclude the gas gun.

got my scope today maybe someone can help my going over the paper work and see that it is set up for (20moa down base) does any one know how i can reset it for a flat base without me doing alot of experimanting on my owen thanks guys p.s. this thing is awsome!!!!!!!!

I'd hazard a guess that it simply means that the scope right now has 20 MOA extra up than down. Go up 20 MOA to get to the center of the adjustment range, whereabouts you should be with a 0 MOA base.

Your EREK comes preset from the factory for a 20 moa base to maximize your travel.

I thort the EREK was designed for use on flat top/non moa base's
and once you had a zero you reset your EREK to give only elevation ??
so all adjustment is used for up and none wasted on down
maybe Im wrong ?

the factory paper work that came with it seid (set up for 20 moa base) and i beleive that all us optic scopes must come this way being i did not request it to be set up this way i will call them this afternoon and ask if no one here can help by then im on midnights so i will check back when i wake up!

"EREK knob
Erector Repositioning Elevation Knob.
This is a 90 clk/rev system. It comes in 1/4MOA, 1/2MOA, and 1cm@100m per click subtentions.
This knob has about 80MOA elevation travel and can be repositioned on the erector screw to simulate a down angle base. This is important to flat-tops and other 0MOA down base rifles because they only get half of a scopes effective travel as well and very long range shooters.
The EREK is an elevation knob only and is available on the SN-3 and ST-10 models."
