Do you find that the 1 piece posi lock mount from USO is a little too low for a flat top ar? Also, will it return to 0 like a Larue?

It's not too low
It returns to zero off and on for the last 5 times I have taken it off and on to make sure
I have an M4gery flat top. The Posi SLide and Lock works great. Worked great on my last deployment too(on a different issue rifle of course)

with a SN3-4 you may have an issue with eyepiece/BUS clearance.... no problem without a fold down rear sight. With a Troy BUS I just slipped on a Yankee Hill 4" riser, and GTG, plus then you can just slide the mount off (tough to do if you have a full length rail on top)
