Trying to pick between nightforce and US optics what advice do you guys have.

NXS 2.5-10x32
SN-3s 1.8-10x

Both scopes look very similar in spec and price, which is better and why? I like the 1/4 moa adjustment of both scopes but looking for best reticle choice for 5.56 w/ the US optics sn-3s

Re: US optics & nightforce

They're both excellent, pick which one suits you, and what your using it for best...

Also, try the search function, this topic comes up once a week...

Re: US optics & nightforce

If you want to customize it to your liking then you should go USO.

Check out the Mil-Scale MPR reticle. I would recommend that you get Mil adjustments with it. In any case always match your reticle to your adjustments (MOA/MOA or Mil/Mil).

Re: US optics & nightforce

I'd go with USO, just because I like having parallax/focus.
I know many don;t think there's a need for it at 10X and under, but running 50-600yds I think it comes in handy.

Re: US optics & nightforce

Just to clear up a misconception, the Nightforce Compact line as well as the F1s are made in the USA.

They also have a new ballistic reticles which you might want to look at.

Re: US optics & nightforce

I would go nightforce. I have 3 of them and love each one. They are the most simple to use. You cannot go wrong. Also the 2.5x10 is the compact with no parallax udjustment. If for longer ranges start at the 3.5x15 but i love the 5.5x22. It is great. It has 100 moa adjustment. And the npr1 reticle is awsome.
