The SN-3 3.2x17x44mm T-Pal is a variable magnification rifle scope from US Optics. The scope features first focal plane, a 30mm main tube, 44mm objective and side parallax adjustment as standard options. During the short time I have been using the SN-3 I have been very impressed. The scope is very robust and made to handle the harshest conditions. US Optics rifle scopes are very prevalent within the military, law enforcement and competitive shooting communities. The staff at US Optics is very knowledgeable and experienced and they were very helpful when selecting features that would best suit my needs. Jason Kyle did an excellent job explaining the pros and cons of different models and options and with Jason’s help I was able to put together what I felt was the perfect scope for my rifle

I chose the SN-3 3.2-17x44mm T-Pal because I felt it was a very practical magnification range for the rifle matches and long range shooting that we do. I like having the TPAL option(TPAL stands for “Turret Parallax” as opposed to their “ERGO” offering, which places the parallax adjustment up at the objective of the scope) of parallax adjustment on the scope turret housing because it’s easy for me to adjust from different shooting positions. The glass quality is excellent and I was very impressed by the clarity. The reticle is located on the first focal plane so that it scales with the magnification, keeping the sub tensions at a constant value. On the lower magnifications it can be hard to use the 1 MOA marks but the larger 5 MOA and 10 MOA marks make the reticle usable while greatly increasing your field of view. I’ve wanted to make the change to FFP for some time now because I feel it’s the best choice for the type of shooting I do.

Thank you! When I'm telling people about the internal ACD I often don't think they really get what I'm talking about so I figured a picture would be the best way to explaine it.

Thank you! We recently did a club practice session and the scope is working out great. The EREK knob is fast, the farthest shot was 640 yards so I barely had to go beyond half a turn. We didn’t have much wind. It was only about 5 mph FV so I just held it using the CMG reticle. The internal anti cant device was a pleasure to use because I never had to break my cheek weld to check it.

The ACD in your scope looks to be more visible than the one in my 1.8-10x37mm Tpal. Wonder if it is just the light or maybe a bigger objective?

It could be the way a took the picture, I don't think I had the camera pointed straight down the scope.

Could be, but it sure looks like it is pretty close to that. That is the one thing that really bothers me with mine. I was really hoping it could have been more user friendly in any light, and any magnification range. Brighter fill in the levels tube or something? If it could be improved, I wouldn't even mind if it cost me to do it, I'd have it done.

Give the guys at USO a call, they are extremely helpful and their customer support and service is second to none. Jason Kyle is very knowledgable and helpful, if something can be done he would know.
