I purchased a 3.2-17x44 T-PAL scope used in the for sale section here on the Hide about 2 years ago. It has the PCMOA reticle EREK knob #1windage knob low profile quick adjust .25 IPHY adjustment. I was very happy with and seemed to be a really good scope. About a month and a 1/2 ago I noticed it not tracking properly. So I performed a box test with it and it failed. I emailed Telena at US OPTICS and explained my problem. I was given an RMA number to place in the scope to ship in for repairs. Well I had gotten really busy at work and had not got the scope shipped off yet. I got a phone call from Telena to inform me that they had not received the scope and was checking to see if everything was OK and it had not got lost in the mail. So I promptly mailed it to them. A week later I received a call from Jason explaining to me that the scope did have a tracking problem. He explained the year the scope was built (2009) they did have this problem and they redesigned parts to solve it. Then he told me it would cost more to repair it than the price of a new one. So they are replacing it with a new one and let me change to mills and a gap lit reticle. It will take a week for them to get it out the door. Two thumbs up from me to US OPTICS, great job.

I find this interesting, as I sent a 2012 SN-4 back to USO twice (In 1 year) for degassing, second time, 3 months nothing, after an e-mail, Jason said that they "would get to it in a few days".

I asked them to send it back. Sold it asap.

I've got the PMs to back this up.

If Dave, Jason, or Wes would like to clarify this sucky situation, I'm an easy guy to reach.

Well guys?

I guess that USO occasionally gets it "right".

I won't bring up the 8 month wait for the wrong scope.

I won't bring up their Posi-Loc mounts.

OP, I'm happy for you. You didn't get dicked around, as I did.

USO CS is the best. I had a problem, its man made and it can break, and USO took care it quick. Love my scopes and now I have two.

997/ 2 Man,

You did have a problem.. It took a long time for your scope no denying that. There's no excuse. One of the reasons we don't offer that product anymore. I've expressed that several times to you. At that time there were really no policies in place. I personally took that bull by its horns and it is fixed. Repairs are completed within 2 weeks. There is plenty of proactive communication with the customer regarding their scope. Many things are different with USO that are for the better.

The posi- loc mounts? We got out of the mount making business years ago as there are many way better options than what we offered. Like you I was never a fan of it. We are sticking to what we know best!!

It never ceases to amaze me that the same old folks have to bash and bash, rehashing the same old shit. Get the fuck over it and move on with your life. My buddy ordered two products from Vortex that had issues, there was confusion during the repair that created problems but guess what I don't bash Vortex they are a good company they always trie to do the right thing by customers. Same is true for USO. At some point one loses credibility by continually weighing in with the same shit.

I have. Buy buying NF, Vortex, Leupold, S&B.

These were 2012 model year scopes. Two years ago. USO is a boutique scope company, that seemed to have dug a pretty deep hole w regards to QC. Maybe you've gotten your shit together, but at this point, you are the fuck I could not give.

I do think it might be in your best interest to…. Oh fuck, good luck, pal.

Jason, you are a cool dude. I appreciate your help and honesty.

The same posts over and over reminds me of the 95 year old lady who went into a police department to report a sexual assualt, the cop asked her when it occurred and she said 1947, he said ""and your just reporting it now" she said, "oh no I've reported it many times I just like to talk about it." I think maybe a sticky is in order saying. I had a bad experience with XYZ company and it is my mission in life to keep saying it over and over.
