They have a facility in Nevada now. I believe that location handles all NA sales. Shipping only took a few days when I got mine direct from AMP using a cert. What's the average shipping time on a new one? Are they all shipped from New Zealand?

Saw the same thing. Hardly any discount for used there. They are suppose to have the some annealing process. Big difference is the screen and minor setting saving ability?Same here, been looking at them and have seen a couple in the last few days around $1100-$1200. I've seen the latest model sell not that much below retail so most likely will buy new if I get the latest model but not sure of all the differences.
The new one auto senses the case when you put it in and starts annealing (this is a toggle option). My friend has an earlier version and you have to press the start button everytime which gets tedious if you anneal 500 at a time.Saw the same thing. Hardly any discount for used there. I haven’t bought one yet. Eventually will. But this alone would push me to get the upgraded versionThe new one auto senses the case when you put it in and starts annealing (this is a toggle option). The new one also doesn't need to cool down during longer annealing strings since they upgraded the fans.
Same here, after reading the upgrades I think the updated version is the way to go. The auto sensing is worth the upgrade alone I think.I haven’t bought one yet. Eventually will. But this alone would push me to get the upgraded version
I have a MKII and you can do the auto anneal with a fee software update from AMP. They include the cable for this very reason. The new one auto senses the case when you put it in and starts annealing (this is a toggle option). Im not an expert on the different versions. I can just compare mine the mk2 db vs the older version my friend has, so if I'm wrong feel free to correct me.I have a MKII and you can do the auto anneal with a fee software update from AMP. They include the cable for this very reason.
