Using .300 Win AICS MAG for .308 need advice

Hi i have a long action .308 win. Rem 700 with PTG DBM. I need to see if any body can give me some advice on how to modify the feed lips. The mag does feed but it seems like the feed lips may be to wide. Im not sure what to do. dont really want to bend the feedlips on the mag unless this is the correct way to adjust the mag. I am considering going back to a badger m4. thought i would try the hide before going back.

I have or should say had a 308 built on a long action with badger dbm. I used 300 win mag AICS magazines and had no issues nor did I modify the magazines.
