Could anyone tell me what the over-all length would be (touching the lands) with this reamer using a Sierra 175gr bullet. I know there might be a few thousanth's difference here and there, but a standard number is what I'm looking for. I'm tring to see how much jump I would get with a round that has an O.A.L of 2.800

Thanks

Re: Using A M-852 Reamer

I used this in my Shilen barrel, I don't have the data in front of me, but I think it was .040 jump with 168gr SMK. Call Manson Reamers, he can tell you quick.

Re: Using A M-852 Reamer

Do you mean the clymer m 852? I have used the clymer m852 for 168smks. clymer recommends additional thraot for 175s. Call them they are great. 248-853-5555 they can also custom make a reamer to your specs.

Re: Using A M-852 Reamer

Thanks to the guys a Old Lodge Armory I now have the answer. 2.830 for 175's and 2.860 for 168's. That make's a .030 jump for 175 grain Federal Gold Metal Match. Thanks lima
