using H322 in a 223

Has anyone tried the H322 in a 223 with 69 gr SMK and with a 1 in 9 twist...
Have a couple of lbs on hand and might as well use it if it will work..Thanks

I would give it a go. Hodgdon has data for the combo on line and, IIRC, H322 has long been a favorite for producing accuracy.

I've been using 322 with 50gr bullets for a year or so and really like it, I think it's a tad fast to be ideal for the heavier weights but should work ok for 69's

I have never used it in 223, but it is my go to powder for .222 I bet it will work good it is a fairly bulky powder so there is good case efficiency.

I love H322 with heavier .223 bullets. Here is my load for 69gr SMK. The key in my rifle is the primer. Either of these two produce great results. If I use others they aren't so good.

brass: LC or WCC
powder: 22.9gr H322
bullet: 69gr SMK
primer: Wolf small rifle magnum or Federal 205M
coal: 2.250"
