After much experimentation I found two loads that group well in my 260 bolt gun. One is Lapua 139 using 42.6 gr. of H4350 and the other is 123 SMK using 39.8 gr. h4895. Several other powders were tried with the 123 but nothing good happened until I tried H4895. I get 3004 fps with this load but it must be touching the lands or jammed slightly. I have never used H4985 in this application and I thought that it would have been a little fast in the burn rate to do well but it is accurate and the SD runs about 6. Any downside to using this fast of a powder in this application?

My best 260 results are with 45 gr IMR4895, 100 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, touching the lands.
The 129 and 140 gr and H4350 are not working well for me.
