Precision Rifle Gear Using Hornady HIT indicators? How are you attaching them?

I tested my hit indicator housing last weekend, and it worked fine. Side note, 338lm will throw one right off the back of a 10", 3/8" thick plate by about 5ft at 525yds pretty easily, even with a monster rare earth magnet holding it on the back of the plate. :) (It was fine when I picked it up and slid the angled reflector back into the housing)

I can't imagine this wouldn't hold up to 22lr without an issue.

The caldwell indicators also proved to be too sensitive to false positive hits on my new 1.5” and 2” hole MOA targets. I originally had the indicators mounted on 4” steel with rubber straps behind the main plate. They still turned on with hits on the front plate. Tried string and bungee suspension for the rear plate and still got false positives.

Wound up putting the front pass through steel plate and target indication plate on separate wood post and that worked. But it is not the one piece solution I was hoping for.

The 1.5” hole 150 yard target set up. Shooters had ten rounds to attempt 100, 150 and 200 yard targets. 24 total attempted shots at the 150 with 3 successful shooters moving onto the 200 yard and all three of them were successful there as well.
