Anyone else using one of these on their m4 style rifle? I've got mine located almost all the way to the rear of my rifle. It easily co witnesses with the front sight through my aimpoiint as I have the red dot the high riser.

Question, are,you guys seeing pretty close to accurate hits on man size targets at ranges past 400 yards when you have the range dialed for 400 y? The site itself allows you to dial all the way to 600 but my rounds seem to be impacting low. I'm shooting federal xm193 55gr fmj. Maybe it's the ammo? I thought the MATECH was calibrated for this specific round?

My accuracy with the irons is fine all the way to 400 and then seems to shoot low when I adjust the MATECH.....can't imagine it's my front sight post as all shots closer in are right where I want them to be.

Suggestions?

Suggestions appreciated.

Re: Using MATECH flip up ranging sight

try moving the back sight a little closer to the front .
this will make each change in distance setting give you a little more elevation at range

Re: Using MATECH flip up ranging sight

Sh$t the yards comment was a typo....must be the ammo, since I'm using xm193. I'll try moving the sight fwd as well.

Thanks guys
